THE LESSON

A son took his old father to a restaurant for an evening dinner.
Father being very old and weak, while eating, dropped food on his shirt and trousers. Other diners watched him in disgust while his son was calm.
After he finished eating, his son who was not at all embarrassed, quietly took him to the restroom, washed off all the food particles, removed the stains, combed his hair and fitted his spectacles firmly.
When they came out, the entire restaurant was watching them in dead silence, not able to grasp how could someone could embarrass themselves publicly like that.
The son settled the bill and started walking out with his father.
At that point, an old man amongst the diner called out to the son and asked him,
"Don't you think you've left something behind?"
The son replied,
"No sir, I haven't."
The old man retorted,
"Yes, you have. You left a lesson for every son and hope for every father."
The whole restaurant went silent.
To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honors.

A FEW DROPS OF WATER!

Amit, was a very nice, decent guy, age 17 from a middle class family, but unlike others, he didn't get pocket money. Actually, he didn't get any sort of money. But, he had one of the greatest things he could ever get, a loving girlfriend (Sakshi) who was from an upper middle class family and thus gave treats to him, helped him with his money problem. She was like an angel to him.
He thought that this valentine, he owes big to her. So, he started collecting money since the new year, from every possible way. He helped his mom to get groceries and other stuff and took some money. He acted good to guests, so that, while leaving, they might give him their blessings. Took money for auto and lunch, but went on foot to his tuition classes and remained hungry during his lunchtime at school. Finally, he managed to collect only Rs. 650.
He knew that if he took her to a movie, he would have a fatka (hit) of Rs. 500.
He thought of giving a gift, but with Rs. 650 he could not manage to get her a decent gift as all the gifts she had given him were above 900/1000.
So, he planned something.
He got his best friend, into the plan.
Valentine's day was on a Friday. So, they were in school.
He took her during the lunch break to their school's terrace, whose lock, they had broken earlier.
His friend guarded the way to terrace.
He kept her eyes closed, when he allowed her to open her eyes, she saw the most beautiful and breath-taking scene, she could have ever seen.
She saw, rose petals, of red, pink, white colour spread on the floor, acting as a passage to a beautifully lighted chocolate cake with candles and with happy valentine's day written on it.
Then there were two wine glasses and a bottle of Mirinda.
He asked her to cut the cake, while she was busy cutting, he tied a beautiful silver-coloured pendent around her neck.
Then they had their cake and Mirinda for the rest of the 2 hours of school.
P.S. - the guarding friend was me.
